As a writer for both traditional print publications and modern hyper-local web sites, Mr. Belej is well versed in reporting, editing, and research. His work as a commercial realtor managing several properties also gives him substantial experience in marketing, brand development and client service.

Mr. Belej is deeply involved in several community groups, including the Ukrainian Scouts. He is recognized as a driving force within these volunteer organizations where he continually works with youth and adults to improve their outreach, membership and operations. He has received several leadership awards for his efforts, including a Hetmanycz Award.
